This, from a man who suppresses liberty at home and spreads terror across the world!
NPR: “Bush criticized the electoral process [in Iran] saying it is designed to keep power in the hands of the few.” AC wonders who was the last US president that wasn’t a millionaire. (I think Michael Moore told us in Fahrenheit 9/11, but I’m sorry to say, I forgot already.)
I just wonder why there’s not more outrage. I guess it really comes down to personality, and a willingness to believe. I remember a bumper sticker from my youth — something like “If you’re not angry, you’re not paying attention.” But we reap what we sow. I’m also reminded of a more recently discovered quote: “If society refuses to admit it’s jacking off, it shouldn’t complain when Congress cuts its dick off.” — William Margold
