Hello World! 👋
Do you ever wonder how to put enough information on the web to be found by 😍 family, friends, colleages, and prospective versions of each of those while not putting so much information out as to provide 👹 with enough ammunition to effectively impersonate you to someone else, or ingratiate him/her/themself to you?
Me too! Interestingly, it seems I’ve wondered this since the very first post in 2005.
As you can see in the history, at one point, I thought to live completely in the open.
There have also been times when I’ve been completely opaque. It’s not clear either approach really served. Or, even really mattered, frankly.
So, here we are. I’ve got some kind of profile in many places. Github in case you want to know if I actually write code (I do, though less than I’d like.) LinkedIn if you want to see the resume-view of my world. Several other digital detritus remains. One day, I’ll delete those old accounts. But there always seems to be something more important to do. Like make this new account!
These days, I journal for myself, but privately. So, this site sees only rare updates. But I have started trying to share some items from my [[/quotes]] collection and adding some reflections on them, to distill why I find them powerful
